- Won Virginia State Amateur in 1956 and 1965
- Two-time winner of Richmond City Championship
- Three-time winner of Valentine Invitational
- Two-time winner of Kendridge Invitational (1965 and 1968)
- Peninsula Amateur Champion 11 times
- Peninsula Sports Club “Man of the Year” in 1968
- Inducted into Lower Peninsula Hall of Fame
