- Helped Yellow Jackets win Mason-Dixon Conference championship in 1952 and 1955
- Served as USA Team Manager for the National Wrestling Team following graduation
- Worked 1988 Olympics in Seoul and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, as well as multiple World Championships
- Member of Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame and National Wrestling Hall of Fame
